Terms of Use for “Welcome Experiences”

  • Welcome Experiences is owned by Varde Municipality, Bytoften 2, 6800 Varde.
  • You have access to Welcome Experiences for one year, provided you have an address in the municipality.
  • You can choose each experience once per household.
  • There will be one login per household, applicable to all members of the household.
  • When ordering a voucher, you must provide your email address. Once the confirmation has been registered in “Welcome Experiences”, an order number will be sent by email. 

Issuance and receipt of vouchers

  • After you have completed your selection of experiences, a unique link to the voucher will be sent by email. The email address used will be the one provided during confirmation. 
  • The validity period of the voucher is stated on the voucher and is also displayed on the website prior to ordering. The voucher is valid for 14 days after issuance unless otherwise stated. For time-limited events, the validity will automatically be limited accordingly. 
  • The voucher must be redeemed within the validity period, and “Welcome Experiences” or the issuing party does not compensate for unused vouchers.
  • Responsibility for the voucher is transferred to you as a citizen at the time you receive it by email. You should therefore check as soon as possible that the content matches your confirmation. 
  • After issuance of the voucher, the right of withdrawal lapses. 

Redeeming vouchers

  • The provider of the experience receives a confirmation email when you receive the unique voucher link. 
  • The voucher must be presented either digitally or printed when redeeming the experience. You may be asked to present ID to confirm that you are the rightful holder of the voucher. Please bring ID when redeeming. 
  • It is not permitted to copy or manipulate vouchers. In case of suspected copying or manipulation, “Welcome Experiences” reserves the right to share relevant information with the respective partners. 

Descriptions of experiences

  • Varde Municipality works closely with all partners to ensure a good experience.
  • All experience descriptions on “Welcome Experiences” are prepared by the responsible provider.
  • All text and image material is approved by the responsible provider. 

Processing of personal data

  • When issuing a voucher on “Welcome Experiences”, personal data such as name, address, and email are registered. Personal data is automatically deleted after one year. 
  • Under “My account” you can see what data we store about you.

By logging in to “Welcome Experiences”, you allow Varde Municipality to collect general information that within the next 5 years may be used for:

  • Retrieving personal information via NemID.
  • Data collection for marketing purposes.
  • Evaluation of providers and activities in Welcome Experiences.
  • Use of cookies.
